The Have a Green Hear Movement
We hope that this page will be ever changing and that the following statement will include a lot more people.
We started out in the spring of 2009 as just a couple of ordinary world citizens, who hoped to provide inspiration to start a global movement.
Aug. 27, 2009 - We are four, Wellington and Halton Region,
Ontario confirmed "Green Hearts" with a
45 47 member strong group on facebook
from across the planet. The group is young, as is this web site and we four
are too: well 82; 70; 67; and 60 years young.
The facebook group spans all ages and is pretty much global. We hope that the number of people will grow "out of proportion", that people from all over the planet will get inspired and and inspire others. And that eventually the production of plastic will slow down to just essentials; such as medical, and that littering will become a shameful thing of the past.
My sisters from Toronto and Franklin Tennessee can be counted as a Green Heart as well as they join us on excursions for garbage when visiting and both have deep concerns for the environmental impact on the planet.
